Let's do a group picnic at Weldon Springs State Park!

Home of miles of hiking trails, beautiful scenery, and numerous picnic tables, Weldon Springs State Park is a great day to spend the summer. This event also allows our Bloomington, Champaign, Lincoln, Decatur, and Springfield members to get together for a day trip and hike.

We will meet at the Target East Peoria parking lot around 10am (for carpools), and onsite before noon. Please bring your favorite food or pick up something locally when heading there.

Since this is a leave no trace park, I will bring some containers for trash and recycling however bringing your own trash bags and containers is also highly recommended.
