4th of July Fireworks on the Illinois River!

As an annual group tradition (one that we haven't done in a couple of years, as life tends to get busy sometimes), let's see the 4th of July fireworks on the IL River once again!

Home of the Illinois Red, White, and Boom - this is a spectacular fireworks display starting at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4 on both the Peoria and East Peoria sides of the IL River.

Since traffic on the East Peoria side is usually a little better, let's meet up near the Lowe's parking lot in East Peoria and walk to the East Peoria riverfront near Bass Pro Shops. Bring a lawn chair, towel, or other means to sit as the grass sometimes gets muddy.

We can also grab dinner in East Peoria (such as at one of the restaurants near Lowe's) before the fireworks, as the lots fill up around 7pm. So get there early, grab a spot, and I look forward to seeing the fireworks again!
