Meetup Group Organizer and/or Event Organizer Needed. Are You Interested?

is desperately in need of a new organizer, or it will be closing soon.
Would you be interested in taking over for me as the Meetup group organizer for this, or even just helping out as an event organizer?

You may not know this but having a Meetup group is not free.
The current cost for a group is now $300 per year plus tax ($320 total).
In order to save money we’re consolidating our Meetup groups and we’ll no longer be cross-posting our events on multiple meetup sites.

Hosting a meetup event is easy, fun, free, something to put on your resume, and a great way to meet people if you would like some company to go on a walk, visit a museum, check out a restaurant, etc.
We can even help you with whatever you need so you’re not doing it by yourself.

Unfortunately my work schedule has me traveling between Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio and I’m currently very limited in my ability to host in-person events in person for the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas History & Culture meetup group.
