CHANGED**Delaware Canal Towpath Hike

Join us for a scenic 5-mile hike along the Delaware Canal Towpath!
CHANGE IN STARTING POINT!
Due to the size of the group and the limited parking at the store, we’ll meet at the BULLS ISLAND parking lot in Stockton NJ. then walk across a footbridge and meet at the Lumberville General Store.
Please be respectful and park at Bulls Island. Bonus is that there are nice bathroom facilities there!

This will be an easy, approximately 5-mile round-trip hike on a flat, packed dirt canal towpath. We’ll head out toward the Cuttaloosa Mill Valley area, then turn around and return to our starting point.

After the hike, feel free to relax and enjoy coffee, snacks, or brunch at the Lumberville General Store (indoor and outdoor seating available).
This is a relaxed, low-key outing with plenty of beautiful scenery. Keep an eye out for local wildlife—we may spot bald eagles, woodpeckers, herons, and wood ducks along the way!
What to bring:

• Water and appropriate footwear
• Cash or card if you plan to purchase food or drinks afterward

Steady rain will cancel the event. Any updates will be posted on Meetup by 6:00 AM the day of the hike.
