Intermediate Hike @ Wissahickon Park South Trailhead

Join us on Saturday November 21st for a 6ish mile intermediate level hike on the Wissahickon South Trailhead in Chestnut Hill. We will meet in the Valley Green Road Parking Lot at 9:15 am and begin the hike at 9:30 am. We will begin with a walk past the Valley Green Inn on the Forbidden Trail. On the way back we will be stopping at scenic markers including the Finger span Bridge and Devil’s Pool.

*NOTE* This is an intermediate level hike for distance, terrain-roots, multiple water crossings, and elevation changes. Hiking poles are suggested. We will break as needed. The trail maybe muddy, so good quality broken in hiking boots are recommended.

Parking Address: Valley Green Road Parking Lot, located on the right side before the bridge to the Valley Green Inn.
