Join us in person for a fun Nowruz afternoon filled with poetry and music vibes!
Come celebrate Nowruz with an afternoon of Poetry & Music to welcome the new year and Spring at the Floating Garden on Regent Canal.
Hosted by the Afghanistan Society and Global Generation, join us at this 'drop-in' event—come for a little or stay for a while!
The Floating Garden is a barge moored along the Regents Canal near Coal Drops Yard with views of the surrounding area. There is an indoor classroom space on the barge as well as outdoor areas and the event will go ahead rain or shine, but do dress for being outside and in! The barge is not yet completely wheelchair accessible as there are a few steps between the decks, the classroom and the toilet. However, there is ramp access from Goods Way to the towpath and accessible toilets in nearby Coal Drops Yard.
