Let's get together to discuss The Productivity Project

Details
Do you sometimes feel like you’re just not getting anything done? Working hard but just not accomplishing as much as you’d like? Spinning your wheels? Spending too much time playing mah jongg? Then this month’s book is just what you’ve been waiting for.
The Productivity Project by Chris Bailey chronicles a year of productivity experiments that he carried out using himself as the guinea pig. He tried everything from meditating for 35 hours a week (how would you get anything done then?), working 90 hour weeks, getting up at 5:30 every morning (and he’s not a morning person!), gaining 10 pounds of lean muscle mass, drinking only water for a month, and even living in total isolation for ten days. What did he produce after all that experimentation and effort? Well, the A Life of Productivity blog (http://alifeofproductivity.com/) for a start; and this book "The Productivity Project (https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/books/the-productivity-project-accomplishing-more/9780345815774-item.html?ikwid=The+Productivity+Project&ikwsec=Books&ikwidx=0)" .
Some of the insights in this book are surprising and his suggestions are certainly worth a try. One thing I like is that he starts each chapter with a ‘takeway’ and the estimated reading time. He ends each chapter with a challenge.
Chris Bailey is an Ottawa resident and graduate of Carleton University. I wonder if he’s free for our meetup. Perhaps I’ll ask.
