What we’re about

Welcome to the Perth Walking Group.

The group has been active for over 10 years and walks are mostly scheduled for Saturday and Sunday mornings at various convenient locations around Perth. Walks on weekdays are also scheduled subject to sufficient interest.
Walks are generally about 60-90 minutes and we cater to all levels of fitness,  usually followed by coffee and it's a great way to get out and about and make new friends in a safe, friendly and healthy environment, and for people who are shy please don’t be the group is very friendly ,
If this is your first ever meet up it can be very scary , but it gets easier.
There are no fees in joining and walking, simply a healthy and friendly disposition and the rest takes care of itself. 
Please upload a profile picture of yourself for easy identification. The better the photo the easier it is to make friends & people to remember your name.  A profile picture is required for us to approve your request to join. 

Member removal - Inactive members
All members are requested to review their membership and if you have not participated in a walk/event within the last 12 months, please remove yourself from the group.
Ideally we would love to see you on a walk/event however due to increased fees on member numbers its been necessary to unlist inactive members.
Please note, that members who have not visited the group page within the last 4-6 months will be deemed to be uninterested in group activities and removed from " The Perth Walking Group".
