An Introduction to Financial Models

Hi All,

I hope that you are all well and have managed to remain virus-free thus far.

I thought that it might be useful to run a session on financial models as these quite often appear in brokers and analysts’ reports and are the primary means of valuing companies who have a project.

Given the current self-isolation for the coronavirus, I thought that I would try running this Meetup using Google Hangouts, something I have not previously tried.

I am by no means an expert in financial modelling, and usually prefer to leave this to others who do this for a living, however, I have created enough models to understand the basics and can hopefully impart enough knowledge to this group to enable you to contemplate undertaking your own analysis in the future.

I have currently scheduled the Meetup for 6 PM on Wednesday 15 April, however, I am flexible and if there are a significant number of responses, preferring an alternative day/time, then I am happy to entertain the idea of moving it.
