The ASD/ACSC ‘Essential Eight’ mitigation strategies have been recommended by the Australian Government for more than a decade. ​

In this session, we will discuss the July 2021 changes to the maturity model, the relevance to the current threat landscape, and impact to implementation using the Microsoft cloud security solutions.

Troy Phillips
Fascinated with technology since, well since forever, Troy holds the position of Technology Strategist at Zetta. Troy has enjoyed a career of constant professional development, rising from the junior ranks building packages to now advising many of Perth’s major companies. With a deep technical background in Microsoft EUC technologies, Troy has dedicated himself to expanding his expertise to include contemporary design of the M365 security suite to meet a variety of client needs and industry domains.

Chris Bell
Chris is Zetta’s Principal Technical Architect and balances his time between getting his hands dirty solving the most complex customer challenges and advising infrastructure and security teams on contemporary Microsoft solutions. He has a knack for being able to see the broad picture and clearly understanding the connections within an organisation’s IT environment. Chris maintains a close eye on the ever expanding and improving MS Cyber Security Suite and enjoys that Zetta is often at the forefront of implementing new solution and feature releases early in their lifecycle.
