What we’re about

This group is for those people who want to sketch and journal nature outdoors. Usually meet the last Saturday of the month. You don't need any drawing skills to get started nature journaling. All you need is curiosity and something to journal with.

Nature journaling is the practice of closely observing nature and capturing these observations on paper using words, pictures and numbers. You can journal in many different ways and for different reasons - some use it as a scientific tool, others use it to understand their environment, to connect with the seasons or to keep track of what is happening in the garden. Nature journaling can also be used as a way of practicing self-care.

Time spent in nature has proven benefits for the health of the body and mind. Nature journaling is a way of slowing down, taking in the wonders around you and increasing the connection to your inner-self.

So if you want to join other people spending time in nature and recording their experiences and observations, come along! We'll have workshops on how to get started, learn specific techniques and more! There will be time to do your own journaling as well as share and learn from others. We look forward to journaling together with you.
