"Maggie's Getting Married is a warm, witty romantic comedy by acclaimed Canadian playwright Norm Foster. It follows the Duncan family on the chaotic eve of daughter Maggie's wedding. Tensions erupt when Maggie's extroverted older sister, Wanda, returns home and reveals she knows the groom a little too well. Set on the evening before the wedding, the story follows Maggie, a young woman preparing to marry the man of her dreams. As her family gathers for the wedding, what should be a joyful and straightforward celebration quickly becomes complicated. Long-held tensions, unexpected revelations and clashing personalities surface, turning the lead-up to the ceremony into a series of hilarious and touching encounters."

Fill up the back row on the right and then forward to the stage. I am seated on the right aisle in the back row.

Ticket price includes a fish n chips supper (eaten outside in the courtyard in intermission). Coffee, tea and liqueurs able to be purchased from the volunteer run bar.

🎭6:30pm: Meet for a quick drink at The Kalamunda Hotel (a few mins walk from KADS). I'll try and get the chairs again on the right near the bar as you enter through the main doors.
🎭7:15pm: Meet at KADS for maybe another wee sherry and take our seats in the tiny historic theatre (mind your knees, tall people!).

As it is a Saturday night you may wish to try one of the other pubs in the area afterwards but leaving that up to you!

PLEASE NOTE: You may not be viewing a politically correct play... some have been quite not PC... so keep that in mind if you feel that might be an issue for you. There is also no wheelchair access and the seats can be a bit of a squeeze!
