Swan Toastmasters Club

Welcome to Swan Toastmasters Club We are a friendly supportive community group with meetings held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings. This meeting we celebrate the last for the Toastmaster year. The meeting theme is: "All Things Orange". As well as being a colour and fruit, orange also symbolises warmth, energy, and enthusiasm – all characteristics of Swan Toastmasters.
Members and visitors are encouraged to wear something orange.
A typical meeting is led by the Toastmaster of the evening, and all members have an allocated role. The program includes 2 or 3 prepared speeches and an impromptu speaking session led by the Table Topics Master. Every speaker receives a verbal evaluation which includes commendations (what the evaluator thought was well done) and some recommendations for improvement. Each part of the program is timed and we endeavour to start and finish on time.

The supper break is a great time to chat with members and have a tea or coffee and some tasty treats.
Visitors are welcome to attend a couple to times before deciding to become a member.
