NYC-Learn about rat laughter

Details
An amazing artist, Kathy High, is coming to town on Saturday to give a talk and performance about rat laughter. Kathy will be handing out free bat detectors to people who keep rats as pets--rat laughter is ultrasonic and we need these devices to bring it down to the human hearing range. Her performance is part of a larger event series that I've hosted called the Multispecies Salon. Saturday's event marks the publication of a book, with an essay in it describing Kathy's early initiatives to rescue rats from biological laboratories. Details about the event are below.
