Welcome to Pet Social Canada—a friendly community for animal lovers to make friends, enjoy local events and help animals together!

Whether you have pets, hope to have one or simply love animals, you’re welcome here.

Our goal is 500 or more members in each of 100 cities across Canada—from major urban centres to smaller communities. That’s 50,000 or more animal lovers connecting and making a difference! The more, the merrier!

As our city teams grow, planned activities include coffee meetups, group dog walks, pet-themed trivia nights, picnics and social evenings. We also hope to arrange talks with animal-care professionals and visits with local rescue organizations. Some gatherings will welcome pets, while others will be just for their people!

When you join, tell us your city and which pet rescue, shelter or animal organization you’d like to support. Your suggestions will help us identify local pet organizations to approach about fundraising together.

Members can also volunteer to share fundraising posts we provide, helping participating pet organizations reach more people. Our first campaigns will involve sharing one post a day for 14 days. Participation is optional, and no purchase is required—sharing is a valuable way to help.

The Pet Letter Co. is sponsoring all of our events and activities and helping organize the community. For its letter fundraisers, it will handle orders, writing, printing and mailing so members can focus on spreading the word.
