What is justice? (and why not kindness?)

Details
“Justice is defined first as the proper treatment of other people and property and then as active engagement in human associtation.” – Chrisopher Gill
This month we will be taking a closer look at the Stoic cardinal virtue of Justice. Rather than being a legal framework, the Stoics see Justice as a virtue that guides all of our dealings with others. And, as the Stoics believe humans to be social beings, this means that Justice is something that needs to be practiced every day and remembered at all times.
So what is Justice, and how can we make it a part of our daily lives?
We invite you to join us for a lively discussion about Stoic principles and practice, and how they can help us to live a good life. All are welcome, whether you are well versed in Stoicism, a Stoic novice, or are simply curious to learn more.
