Details
"Happiness is a good flow of life" - Zeno, Stobaeus, ii.7
It is a common misconception that Stoicism aims to repress all emotions, so that one is unmoved by even the most extreme of external events. However, a deeper dive into the writings of the ancient Stoics show that they held a much more nuanced and advanced (for their time) view on emotions. And with the Modern Stoic movement these insights have been further developed through the lens of modern psychological and neurological understanding.

We invite you to join us for a lively discussion about Stoic principles and practice, and how they can help us to live a good life. All are welcome, whether you are well versed in Stoicism, a Stoic novice, or are simply curious to learn more.
