Though it is not often mentioned, the Stoics did believe that life should include relaxations, socialising and leisure, in moderation. Even the rather severe Epictetus advised that in life we should "behave as if at a banquet". So what better way to practice than to hold an actual banquet to celebrate our time together as Peteborough Stoics.
We will be meeting at the Coopers Arms pub, which is right by our usual meeting place, for an evening of good food and good company. We hope you can join us.
