About us
This group is for anything outdoors that people care to enjoy doing in the company of others.
Our year round activities typically see us hiking, cycling or kayaking. Where appropriate , we often sit for a coffee, hot chocolate, adult beverage or food after our excursions. .The limit of our possible activities, is the limit of creativity with which we come up with ideas to share.
The members of our group are incredibly diverse, and it is with pride that I say this group is extremely welcoming. Newcomers are always welcome, and shortly after joining our activities, you too will be welcoming others to our group.

Morning Hike at Bon Echo Provincial Park

We will walk The Shield Trail. It is 4.2km and roughly 1.5 hours.
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/ontario/the-shield-trailWhile the terrain can be a bit uneven in spots, it remains accessible to most. This trail passes the shores of three lakes including Bon Echo Lake.

Afternoon Paddle at Bon Echo Provincial Park

If you haven't paddled at Bon Echo, you are in for a treat. If you already have, you know why you want to go! Get up close and personal with 100 meter high Mazinaw Rock cliff featuring over 260 Indigenous pictographs and some park history.
BYOB (Boat, Kayak, Canoe, Vessel) or rent one from the park.
Lake on both sides of the narrow can change frequently from smooth to very choppy, so please only sign up if you are ok with those conditions.
