McCracken’s Landing, kayak and canoe launch.

Plan is to launch kayaks and head west, then north, then east, bringing us back to our launch point.

Those who have paddled this route with me know it well, you’ll recall an osprey or two, maybe some herons, or loons, Church on the Rock and the Stoney Lake Sailing club on Juniper Island.

Others will recall the cold beer and good food to be had right after we put our kayaks away at Hobart’s Lighthouse restaurant.

Please note there is a parking fee of $ 10-15.00 associated with parking vehicles at McCracken’s Landing.
