Warsaw Back Dam Park, kayak to Warsaw Caves (and back)

This is usually a leisurely paddle, along the Indian River, suitable for paddlers of most experience levels.

Shoreline at launch is gentle, with good footing. Parking is no more than 50-100 feet from boat launch. (We frequently drive our cars to the water’s edge, offload and then park cars).

At the midpoint, paddlers frequently take a dip in the waters, encourage everyone to wear swimsuits or bring a change of clothing.

Hats are highly recommended, as is applying sunscreen and staying hydrated.
