A Belmont Lake paddle at Scott’s place.

Scott recently joined our group, and mentioned that he had a cottage on Belmont Lake just north of Havelock,

Scott mentioned that Belmont Lake is a beautiful lake for paddling. He went on to mention that at one end of the lake, Belmont Lake Brewery can be accessed by kayak/canoe.

(This is where the “light” went on) :)

From the Belmont Lake Brewery web site, I learned that they specialize in brewing English Beers, and their beer list looks intriguing.

I’ll let Scott add some comments, I encourage all to introduce themselves to Scott, as the opportunity provides between now and June.
