Petroglyphs hike!

Participants of this hike will have a choice, follow me on a 10.9 km hike, or opt for a shorter self-guided 8km hike.

The 10.9 km hike will start from the main gate at the front of the park, walk in on the service road, then pick up the west day use trail area. We walk the trail circuit clockwise, and will take a break on the north shore of Minnow Lake.

Those wanting the shorter hike, have a similar starting point, walking in on the service road, however when they reach the west day use area, they will walk the trail in a counter-clockwise path. This will take them up to the Nanabush Trail, along which they will come to the same area as the “long” group, on the north shore of Minnow Lake.

Both groups will exit the park together, completing the circuit in a clockwise manner.

Please note all distances are approximate.

If Participating, please bring food, snack and hydration.

Trails should be dry, with very few muddy places.

Parking for this event is very limited, on the shoulder of the road on either side of the main gate by Northey’s Bay Road. If necessary, there is additional parking at
Quarry Bay Beach Park.
