Out of an abundance of caution, I am sharing this.

Earlier today, I received a suspicious message from a “Damon”, which i considered fit the profile of what would be considered a “phishing” or malware attempt.

I did not click on any part of the message.

I have sent Meetup a message informing them of what I received.

If anyone receives any message in which there are links of any kind, absolutely do not click on the links. If you receive any messages that appear to be suspicious please let me know.

(I’m hoping I was the target because I’m an organizer, and that the general membership is not targeted)
