A “good, great, fantastic” after Thanksgiving hike (and late lunch).

My thanks to James (from Whitby) for the original suggestion for this venue, this hike will travell on 10.0 - 12.5 km trails of the Durham Forest after which we head to Second Wedge Brewing Company in Uxbridge, ON for a late lunch.

Please note, the trails are on rolling terrain with several scenic lookouts on the route.

There is a $ 6.00 parking fee associated with parking at the trailhead, please make sure you have your cell phone to access the parking app if parking.

Please note, there are several trailheads that access the Durham Forest. The trailhead we are using is located at 1469 Concession 6.

Please make sure you are on concession 6, when approaching the trailhead, otherwise you’ll miss the start of the hike !
