Peterborough Outdoor Activity

Join us for a scenic bike ride around Peterborough. Explore a mix of side street and pathways as we meander around the city. This route is reasonably flat ride at a casual pace...approximate distance 10 km.
Meet at Prince of Wales School parking lot. Plan is to make this a weekly ride on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm....Ride for approx. 60-90 minutes. We can try different routes.

This is a relatively flat 32 km bike ride, along the Trail to Lakefield.

In Lakefield, we stop for a coffee, ice cream or just water hydration

We then make our way back to Peterborough along River Road.

Beer, nibbles await at Ashburnham Ale House.

Peterborough Music fest kicks off June 28th with a Serena Ryder, for a free outdoor concert.

Those wishing to attend are encouraged to bring a folding lawn or camp chair, some nibbles and whatever beverage you are inclined to consume.

We typically sit stage right, as you look at the stage. The first to arrive typically try to save some space for others wishing to attend.

This is however an informal event, so if you miss the concert, or miss finding our seating area…there’s always another concert.

Note, as this is an outdoor concert, that will probably be very well attended, parking near the event can be difficult, if you are a latecomer.
