This will be a scenic drive along the Mongollon Rim (FR 300) suitable for stock off-road vehicles. Expect a mostly graded gravel road with some paved sections, and tremendous views to the south from the edge of the Rim. This is a leisurely site-seeing ride, and is expected to include a brief side trip to the General Spring Cabin. We will be driving the route from west to east, starting from AZ Route 87 and ending at AZ Route 260.

We will meet in the Home Depot parking lot near the Speedway Fuel station planning on a 9:00 AM departure.

As usual, bring along appropriate survival and extraction equipment and supplies: water for you, passengers & vehicle; tools & recovery gear; clothing & footwear suitable for walking about in the desert; lunch & snacks; and, items for your comfort such as chairs, shade, hats & sun protection.

We encourage people to take photos of the day and upload them to this site for the group to see.
