Sign making & hard hat decorating party for Austin Pride!

Want to march with PFLAG Austin in the Austin Pride Parade? Everybody in the queer community is welcome!

We are having a sign making and hat decorating party to prep for the parade. We have a bunch of hard hats in various rainbow colors for our contingent. First come, first served! You can grab a hat, decorate it, and make it your own. We will have craft supplies such as hot glue guns (obvi!), feathers, glitters, etc. but feel free to also bring your own supplies.

We will also have sign making supplies to make your own sign: foam core board, Sharpies, etc.

We have also ordered t-shirts and hope to have them ready to give out at this party. There will be pizza and drinks for lunch.

(Also, FYI: the Austin Pride Parade will be on Sat 8/12; staging starts around 7 pm on San Jacinto Blvd between 11th St and 15th St, stepping off around 8:30 pm. We will provide more details for our contingent soon.)
