ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY - Tuesdays with PGH Cheers & Chess

It's finally here! We are so excited to bring to y'all the 1st anniversary party of Cheers & Chess! On Tuesday, January 20th from 6-close, come and join us as we celebrate a YEAR of cold beer, community, and checkmates.
Whether it's your 1st time attending or your 50th, we would love to have you as we toast to 2025 and everything that 2026 has to offer! Bring yourself, your friends, your family, or anyone you happen to meet on the street!

In addition to our normal weekly fare, we will also be having a raffle where you can win chess sets, Aslin merchandise and gift cards, and more!!! Proceeds go towards @queensgambitpgh , a non-profit here in Pittsburgh that brings the game of chess to underprivileged children in our area.

About the club:

We are at Aslin Brewing every Tuesday from 7-9. We aim to bring a low-stakes and fun environment to learn/play chess, meet new people, and socialize at a great Brewery in Pittsburgh!

There is no agenda, and no need to arrive at 7. Join us for as long or as little as you like! Events are free and we have 18 boards for anyone to use. (If you have a board, we ask you to bring it with you!)

Please don't be discouraged if you see low RSVP numbers. Anyone who has attended will attest that this is a very free form group and no RSVP is needed (so our regulars don't even bother RSVPing anymore :D ). We average over 30 people each week with skills ranging from "what does that piece do" to "I think that's checkmate?" to "Hey, does Andy play professionally?"
