My Favorite Module Night at Google

We've done this before with great success, so we're bringing it back: My Favorite Module Night at PghPy!

Pick your favorite python module, standard library or otherwise, and come in and tell us about it in about 5 minutes. Everyone is welcome to participate, and we will get through as many as we possibly can.

You don't need to be an expert on the module. We're not going to grill you with tough questions. We just want an introduction to anything you've used that has made your work a bit easier. Announce your module choice in the comments of this post so that others can avoid duplicates!

This is a great meeting for beginners because you can see, at a high level, what Python is capable of, and how it might make your next project easier. Please tell your friends!
