Join us for friendly, fun teaching and social evenings near South Kensington—no experience or dancing partner required.
Every dance is fully taught, and our committee members are always on hand to help. Within minutes you'll be reeling, setting and spinning with the rest of us!
When: Thursdays, fortnightly from 7:15pm
Where: Marlborough Primary School, Draycott Avenue, SW3 3AP (short walk from South Kensington tube station)
Entry: £9 card only, paid on the door—includes snacks, soft drinks and wine

Discover Scottish Reeling in London!
If you love the energy of a ceilidh, reeling is the perfect "level up."
Welcoming complete beginners and experienced dancers alike to our fortnightly teaching & social evenings in South Kensington. Join our friendly community of around 80 mostly young professionals who come as much for the social side as the dancing — it's the perfect midweek mix of learning something new, meeting great people, and having a brilliant night out for only £9 (drinks & snacks included!).
No experience or partner needed — every dance is fully taught beforehand and committee members are always on hand to help. Within minutes you'll be setting and spinning with the rest of us!
The details:
📍 Marlborough Primary School, Draycott Avenue, SW3 3AP
Close to South Kensington, Sloane Square and Knightsbridge tube stations (Piccadilly & District lines).
⏰ Doors open 7pm for 7:15pm start, but absolutely fine to arrive anytime. We finish at 9:30pm but many continue socialising at the pub next-door.
🎟 £9 on the door (card only)
🍷 Wine, cordial, and snacks included — with time to refuel between dances so you can chat make friends, and maybe join us for a trip to the pub afterwards.
👟 Dress code is casual — just wear comfortable shoes you can move in (no high heels please!)
