What we’re about

"Let us not seek for a theory behind the phenomena. The phenomena themselves are the theory."
—Goethe (paraphrase)

Our goal is to explore and understand spirituality by looking at and through the phenomena themselves. I believe we are a reflection of the fundamental nature of reality and this appears to be discernible by paying attention to phenomena. As we develop spiritual understanding, we will work on embodying our understanding.

What do the throughlines of the different kinds of phenomena tell us? Life & Death, Day & Night, Contraction & Expansion — do these point to non-duality? Do the phenomena tell us we're interconnected? The contraction and expansion of my heart and lungs can be traced back to the birth and death of stars.

For each event, I'd like to begin with a group breathwork and meditation session for a total of ~35 minutes. Afterwards, we'd have discussions on spiritual topics and inner work. All beliefs are invited long as you appreciate plurality and synthesis, and are fundamentally grounded in phenomena.

If you want to get a better idea of where I'm coming from, have a look at the videos I've made:
"An Organizing Principle: Unite the Divided, Differentiate the Integrated", 14 minutes - https://youtu.be/RyW851JSu6Y
"Interconnectedness Realizing Interconnectedness", 1.5hr - https://youtu.be/X4APv-6DN40

Truth is our aim and so we commit to bringing our best selves to this space, and when disagreeing we will do so respectfully and with care. I have so much to learn myself. I'm not claiming to be perfect, at all.

We value: feeling, thinking, imagination, truth, and embodiment.

I still have to figure out location.
