Let's see if I still remember how to do this 😉
The first stop on the[masked] Polar Bear Grand Tour is the VFW Hall in Cape May, NJ. The Polar Bear Grand Tour is a group of riders (Last year's registration stopped at 550) from as far away as Connecticut. Who ride on Sundays throughout the winter to various places in PA, NJ, NY, and DE. Registered riders accumulate points based on the amount of rides they make and their round trip mileage for those rides. Patches and Pins are awarded for certain point totals achieved for those rides.
With all that's going on around us, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there are quite a few changes for this years Polar Bear Grand Tour. To see all of the changes (Registration, Destinations, Sign-In, etc.) please click on the following; https://polarbeargrandtour.com/rules.htm
If you are interested in joining this years Tour, in years past there was a $25.00 registration fee ($20.00 for AMA members) I don't know how they are handling that this year, which is another reason to click the link above
You do not have to register with the PBGT to come along for the ride. Plus, just think, if you come out for the rides you will not have to invest in a battery tender to keep it charged for the colder months. Your using the bike will take care of that.
We'll meet for coffee at The Wawa, Store #8114, 1250 North Providence Road, Upper Providence, PA 19063 at 8:15 AM so as to be on the road no later than 9:00 AM for the ride down. If your planning on coming along please be on time and ready to go with a full tank of gas and an empty bladder.
The "Planned" route down will not involve any Highway Riding. Though we will be crossing the Commodore Barry Bridge to get into New Jersey. If you have one, remember your EZ-Pass, for depending on you route home you might need it to get out of NJ
By Law, Helmets must be worn by both Rider and any Passenger in NJ
Hope to see you there
