About us

I had an idea last night and wanted to see if there are other parents in Philly who might need something like this too. 🤎

I've been thinking about starting a meetup/community for parents who are trying really hard to raise emotionally healthy kids while also working on themselves.

Parents who are breaking generational cycles.

Parents who get overstimulated.

Parents working on their own mental health and emotional regulation.

Single parents, co-parents, or parents who are raising kids away from family and don't have much of a village.

Parents who sometimes struggle with patience, guilt, loneliness, or feeling like they're getting it wrong—but who genuinely want to learn, grow, repair, and do things differently.

I don't envision this as therapy or another place where parents are expected to have everything together.

I'd love for it to be a real community.

Coffee while the kids play. Walks. Playdates. Parents-only nights. Conversations about overstimulation, regulation, breaking cycles, repairing with our kids, relationships/co-parenting, and all the complicated parts of parenting that people don't always talk about.

Most importantly, I want it to be judgment-free.

You can love your children more than anything and still admit that parenting is HARD.

I'm thinking of calling it Growing While Raising — Philadelphia, because that's really the whole idea: our kids aren't the only ones growing. We are too. 🤎

Would anyone be interested in something like this?
