Contemplative Protesters Unite!!

IN THE PICTURE, WE WILL BE DOING THE SAME THINGS THESE MUSICIANS ARE DOING... BUT IN COMPLETE SILENCE!!

I'm an experienced group facilitator, so this will be a good meeting, don't worry! Minor snacks will be on hand and a water fountain nearby. We'll gather, introduce ourselves, and--depending on how many of us there are--briefly or more elaborately say why we have come.

Then down to business: 1) I'll explain the concept in as much detail as needed (even if I am at loss for words because our message is both simple and profound), then 2) go over our signage: different, creative ways of possibly expressing the message, including, for clarity, examples of things we DON'T want to display and which do not convey a universal message; and 3) go over what we say in the conversations that are very likely to occur, and how to say it! If you're up for it we can have fun doing some role playing... it can be very difficult not to get drawn into the wrong kind of conversation.

Then we'll look at practical specifics: HInts on making signs (they should be sturdy; you'll be wanting to use it again and again), how to brace or hold them without getting tired... and where our first "gig" might be! I'll see you there!!
