Sunday Social Dance @ The Stardust Ballroom - Hot Dog Dance

I'm going a little bit "out of the box ", hosting a social dance that might not specifically be a Latin Dance event, but this event can be a nice way to expand your social dance experience. Mary and Tony will hold another of their Sunday Social Dance Afternoons, with a variety of dance styles to experience, and lots of new people to meet and greet. So if you have been thinking about stepping out of your usual dance comfort zone, this is a great way to step out and hit the floor. And who doesn't like hot dogs, there will be hot dogs and a light buffet as well.
This event will start with a lesson given by instructor Diane Alcavage, who will teach a Swing Dance workshop at 3 pm. The Social Dancing will then go from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, with a wide variety of styles to experience. The dance styles for the afternoon will include Waltz, Cha cha, Tango, Foxtrot, Hustle, Salsa, Bachata, Swing, Quickstep, Rumba, Bolero, Merengue, Samba and more . Quite a variety to choose from, so even if you are not familiar with some of these dance styles, you can still watch and experience the social dancers enjoying them, and perhaps see another style that you will want to learn. And did I mention the hot dogs?
Cover is $15.00, which includes the Swing lesson, dance social, and the hot dog buffet and refreshments. This is a BYOB event, with plenty of free off-street parking. All in the beautiful Stardust Ballroom. So RSVP now and mark your calendars.
