Memorial Day Latin Dance @ The Stardust Ballroom

It's Memorial Day Weekend, and there is an another great night of Latin Dance at the beautiful Stardust Ballroom in Bellmawr NJ, Saturday May 23rd, starting at 8:00pm. This will be a night starting with a one hour Salsa Lesson at 8:30pm with Loretta Chianese of New York Dance studio. And at 9:30pm, the dance floor will open up for some of the BEST Latin Dance, with DJ Richie Rumbero spinning the hottest Salsa and Bachata music, with a dash of Merengue and a bit of Cha-cha as well. The dancing will go into the wee hours, so polish up your dance shoes and be ready for another great night of Latin Dance.
The Salsa workshop is slated to be a real selling point for the event, I got a little "sneak peek" into what is planned for the lesson, a lesson that is open to all levels. It will be
focused on foundational timing, partner connection, and simple social dance combinations, so you can use right away on the dance floor. It’s open level and welcoming to both beginners and more experienced dancers who want to strengthen their basics and add clean, usable patterns for social dancing. And these dance workshops are a great way to meet and greet lots of new people, so be sure to get there early.
And as a special bonus, Loretta and her New York Dance team Ladies Performance Team will put on a special performance, so get ready to see a Lady's Styling show with her awesome students.
Cover is just $20 (cash or Venmo), and that includes the 8:30 Salsa workshop. And in keeping with the beginning of summer, there with be a hot dog buffet starting at the 8:00pm opening. This event is also a BYOB event, with ice and soft drinks available for purchase. Plenty of free off-street parking in the well lit parking lot, just steps from the entrance.
