Hi, my name is Melanie. I have a million ideas and 0 execution talent. I'm starting this group because I want to finish a couple of short stories by the end of year, but I'm stuck in the ideation phase. After accumulating a scrollable list of notes containing semi-formulated story ideas and vignettes on my phone, I realized what I needed: a writing mentor, a partner-in-art, a colony of creatives to keep me consistent.
That's where you come in.
Let's cultivate a writing practice together, exchange feedback, and celebrate each other's progress.
I want to see where the energy of this group will flow - we can body-double, share our work, even write collaboratively. I don't want to create a structure just yet - I imagine instead that it will reveal itself to us.
