Be part of a community collaborative woven piece. Create a no waste loom at FREE “First” Friday (note: date changed to Friday, 7/11 due to holiday) this summer leading up to the August exhibition reception and pick it up after the exhibition. All ages and abilities encouraged.
Have a vision? Bring any yarns or fabrics you would like to incorporate in your piece.
Unable to attend 7/11? Drop in during open studio hours. The requirement is the weaving takes place on the waterfront.
Weaving on the Waterfront: A Third Year Residency Exhibition runs August 1-31. The exhibition features work spun, woven, and created at Cherry Street Pier by Studio 16 Resident Artist Bonnie MacAllister and an installation by Jamie Campbell who exhibited large scale work in Phantastic Phibers.
