More about our Organization
Laughter Yoga USA is a unique non profit organization, with the intention of:
- creating more awareness about the benefits of laughing for health, a.k.a Laughter Yoga.
We focus on
2) sharing laughter for health and well-being with communities of all ages and backgrounds, throughout all communities in the USA.

We serve as a support network for Laughter Yoga professionals ( leaders, teachers, master trainers, ambassadors and laughter club members) and offer ongoing programs trainings, educational updates, laughter work opportunities, listing of active Laughter Yoga professionals, upcoming events and programing.

We offer educational wellness programing in the classroom for students of all ages.
Our Educator Relief Program (ERS) can connect educators with a Laughter Yoga pro! -
We welcome new particpants who are eager to include more laughter into their daily routine and are eager to show you some simple life hack of how to laugh more and stress less!

We seek ways to collaborate with other groups to help spread our message of Health Happiness & Peace, through laughter.

Exciting Announcement from Laughter Yoga USA!
We are thrilled to unveil a new Laughter Club on Zoom!Laughter Yoga is a global laughter exercise program created by Indian physician Dr. Madan Kataria in Mumbai in 1995. What started out as a laughter group laughing at jokes evolved into participants laughing mindfully and intentionally for their health. Research data shows that even fabricated laughter (when engaging the diaphram) can offer serious health benefits. Already the intake of more oxygen is a good thing for circulation and deep breaths are calming to the parasympathetic nervous system.
Prolonged laughter can activate those happy hormones and participants can benefit from increased dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins, while lowering their stress hormone (cortisol) levels.When we laugh together we feel the stress melt away and this positive connection with others (we don't laugh at, we laugh with others) is uplifting and promotes joy , self confidence and connection.
How to prepare:
No experience necessary. Only the willingness to laugh more. Pack a bottle of water to keep hydrated. Invite a grumpy friend or family member : )
No special attire or equipment needed. No yoga mats.
All exercises can be performed seated or standing. We incorporate gentle improvisational movements and everyone can go at their own pace.Laughter Leaders
