Philadelphia over 50 Fun Meetup Group

**********QUEEN VILLAGE, SOCIETY HILL, PENNS LANDING, BELLA VISTA, & SOUTH STREET HEADHOUSE DISTRICTS based.

**********UPDATED as of 10/18/2025. WE HAVE GONE PRIVATE! for the saftey of 500 members. We're a group of 50 and over who like to do things together and make new friends.
It has become no longer a female centric group because of the many non-binary members of the community we want to welcome.

**********Events include arts & crafts, live music, movies, talks, workshops, coffee, tea, outdoor festivals, conventions, holiday festivities, etc. Most all of our events are IN the city of Philadelphia. Some of our members are sober, so while alcohol will sometimes be served at events, we don't choose events that revolve around drinking. Our goal is to get together, get acquainted, and have fun in good company.

***********At this age we transition from the carefree era we once navigated the urban lifestyle, to more complicated realities of life, and find friendships that bond tighter or wane, so it helps to find support sometimes in the form of strangers and new friends facing similar challenges.
From outings, gatherings, coffee meet-ups, a reason to get dressed up, or a reason to staycation and feel comfy, simply being there when someone is in need, this group will provide hope and companionship and listening.

We're always open to new ideas for events, so feel free to suggest one!

***********note from organizer- this group is 7 years old, and has a lot of history. We are keeping a similar name and intention to honor the group and its original intention.
