Debate Topic:
Discussion of the study on "Hidden Tribes"

About this Event:
Thank you for sharing your interest in participating in a new Braver Angels book club. The book club is yet another activity within our group to learn and to promote greater understanding.

This is more than a typical book club - it is a conversation. It is an opportunity to read resources that reveal research, data, and even narratives that get to the heart of matters of division and reveal facts that often go overlooked in today's social environment.

With this in mind, the first meeting will cover what is actually not a "book", but a published report from 2018 titled, Hidden Tribes: A Study of America's Polarized Landscape. You can download it here: https://hiddentribes.us/media/qfpekz4g/hidden_tribes_report.pdf

If you’re interested, you can also take the More in Common quiz here to see which political group you would fall in: https://hiddentribes.us/quiz

Many members will find this publication interesting and revelatory to the challenges we see today. The report is by More in Common, an international initiative to build societies and communities that are stronger, more united, and more resilient to the increasing threats of polarization and social division.

Note that the discussion of this book and its inclusion on the Braver Angels website do not imply promotion of the subject matter or the persons involved in the creation of this book.
