### ADHD: Managing Emotions in Relationships

ADHD can often turn relationships into a cycle of emotional overwhelm, misunderstandings, and repeated conflict. Without emotional regulation and clear communication, couples can find themselves stuck in the same arguments, feeling disconnected, distant, and misunderstood.
This session explores how to break that cycle and rebuild connection.
We will focus on two key areas from the SCREEN framework:
R — Regulation: Learn how to stay grounded when emotions feel overwhelming so you can respond instead of react.
C — Communication: Discover how to express your needs clearly without blame, shutdown, or escalation.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your emotional patterns and practical tools you can use immediately to reduce conflict, improve communication, and strengthen your relationship connection.
