About us
Welcome to The Science & Spirituality of Happiness Series
"Transforming unbearable pain into livable disappointments.” — Dr. Keith Meador
About Our Group
Can science explain how we flourish? Absolutely—positive psychology gives us incredible, evidence-based tools to understand the mind and build resilience. But science alone, without spirituality, misses the deeper picture.
Spirituality is what anchors us. It imbues our daily lives with meaning and purpose, helping us make sense of suffering, navigate deep trauma, and find the strength to persevere—even in the darkest of nights.
The Science and Spirituality of Happiness is a compassionate community space dedicated to exploring where empirical research and spiritual wisdom intersect. Together, we learn not just how to survive, but how to truly flourish.
What to Expect
We meet weekly for 30–45 minutes. Our sessions are intentionally kept concise and meaningful so you can ground your week without feeling overwhelmed.
Each meeting includes:
Evidence-Based Insights: explorations into positive psychology and psychological well-being through modalities such as ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy), PST (Problem Solving Therapy).
Spiritual Integration: Discussions on how faith, purpose, mindfulness, and spiritual frameworks give depth to psychological truths.
Reflective Conversation: A safe, supportive environment to process life’s challenges and build authentic connections with others on the path.
Whether you are walking through a difficult season, supporting others, or simply seeking a more intentional and meaningful life, you are warmly invited to join us.
