Join us for our very first Meetup group event as we head to Villanova Theatre for a thrilling night of live performance, community building, and exclusive behind-the-scenes access! We will be experiencing the Tony Award-winning rock musical Spring Awakening at the beautiful Mullen Center for the Performing Arts.
Even better—our inaugural outing falls on a special event night: Drinks with the Dramaturg. Before the curtains rise, we will gather to relax, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, and participate in an informal pre-show conversation with the production's dramaturg. It is the perfect opportunity to learn about the show’s artistic concepts, ask questions, and break the ice with your fellow members!

🎭 About the Show
Set to a visceral alternative rock score by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, Spring Awakening follows a group of young people in 19th-century Germany navigating the turbulent, confusing, and heartbreaking journey from adolescence to adulthood. This highly acclaimed coming-of-age story rails against repression, giving an achingly relevant voice to teenage rebellion and desire. (Please note: This production contains mature themes and subject matter).
🎟️ How to Attend- Secure Your Show Ticket: Tickets range from $10 to $32. You must purchase your own ticket directly via the official Villanova Theatre Box Office.
- RSVP on Meetup: Once you have your ticket, RSVP here so we know who to look out for at the pre-show mixer!
- Where to Meet: Look for our group in the theatre lobby starting at 7:00 PM. We will head over to the dramaturg's reception display together.
