ThanksLiving Pot Luck

You are invited to our annual Vegan ThanksLiving Potluck!
This year’s event is dedicated to the memory and life of Jane Goodall.

DATE: Thursday, November 27, 2025
TIME: 4- 6 PM
(*Rsvp if you can volunteer for 3 - 4pm Set-Up; or break down from 6 -7pm!)
LOCATION: Chestnut Hill Meetinghouse, 20 E. Mermaid Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19118
WHAT TO BRING:

• A vegan dish - main meal, side dish, dessert, vegan bread or beverage - to share with at least 5 people (no animal products, no meat, dairy, eggs, honey)
• INGREDIENT CARD for folks who have allergies
• Your own plate, bowl, cutlery and cup (to cut down on waste - we’ll have back-ups just in case)
• Dishes that are ready to serve. We will not have access to ovens or microwaves
• Serving implements for your dish
• Bags to transport your dishware/bowls/cutlery to wash at home. (It helps us get out in time)

Our goal is to “Leave No Trace”…like we do when hiking and visiting parks. Take out what you brought in!

FEE: $10 fee (cash only. No one is turned away!) Collections go to the space rental and operating costs.

TRANSPORTATION: Take Septa rail to Wyndmoor stop, exit to Mermaid Lane, turn right, then walk down to meetinghouse. Or take 23 bus on Germantown Avenue to Mermaid Lane (the meetinghouse is one block up the hill). By car: there are parking lots adjacent to the meetinghouse.

In this upside-down time, let’s unite with kindness and hope. Come shmooze, and enjoy the company of like-minded, compassionate folks in a welcoming, beautiful, and cozy environment along with a delicious vegan potluck dinner. There will be some musical sing-a-longs.

Looking forward to seeing old and new friends! Open to everyone - vegan, vegan curious, or just love vegans.
