Looking to impact Philadelphia’s rivers this summer? Volunteer with INVISIBLE RIVER! We are a local non-profit arts organization that creates live performance events to celebrate the beauty and magic of water on our local rivers and waterways. www.invisibleriver.org

We're looking for volunteer help on Friday, July 15th and Saturday, July 16th in three main areas: setup, event support, and breakdown. These include many tasks such as setting up tables and tents, greeting attendees, helping people put on life jackets, production runners, and more.

Celebrate the Schuylkill river at Schuylkill River Arts Day (SRAD), a FREE family-friendly festival Saturday, July 16 on Kelly Drive in East Fairmount Park. The event begins at Mander Recreation Center with a processional walk down Boxer's Trail to the main festival area on the banks of the Schuylkill. Festival participants will enjoy free public kayak rentals, paddling lessons, casting and fishing lessons, team-building challenges by the Philadelphia Outward Bound School, circus and dance performances from Funicular Circus, the African Diaspora Artists Collective and more. An interactive art project curated by Fairmount Water Works will help festival goers learn more about the River. Parking will be available at Mander Recreation Center but participants are encouraged to bike, walk or take Septa to the event.

An aerial dance exploration of swinging, swimming, swiveling and suspension from Fairmount Park’s beautiful historic Strawberry Mansion Bridge above the Schuylkill River. Viewers can watch from the banks of the Schuylkill for free or they can rent a canoe or kayak and watch from the water.
