American Red Cross Blood Drive

The Philadelphia +MPU Brickyard will be hosting a blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross and the Independence Visitor Center on Monday, June 23rd, from 10 am until 3 pm.

Did you know that every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood? 1 in 7 patients entering a hospital will need a blood transfusion. Red Cross blood drives help save the lives of people battling life-threatening injuries, complicated childbirths, cancer, and sickle cell disease. Over the last 20 years, the number of people donating blood to the Red Cross has fallen by more than 40%.
