Celebrate Spring with the music & Dance of Sicily & Southern Italy!

Our Second Annual Spring dance party comes to Phildelphia! Each year, just when Persephone returns to the land of the living and brings sunshine and warm weather, Rosa Tatuata ( Michela Musolino, vocals, tamburo; tamburello; Phil Passantino, guitar; accordion; Charlie Rutan; zampogna; ciaramedda; flute; JP Pannettieri, taburello; marranzanu; saz; mandolino) gets together to make the joyous, raucous and fiery music of Sicily and Southern Italy to celebrate the return of SPRING! Join us for a dance workshop at 2pm to learn some Sicilian folk dance and then stay for the show at 3 and try out your new moves...maybe even learn a few more - we'll teach as we go!
