August Meeting - "We" and "Roadside Picnic"

August we're diving in to Russian SciFi.
First up is WE by Yevgeny Zamyatin, a 1924 dystopian novel that influenced Orwell's 1984.
Since that's fairly short we decided to also read Roadside Picnic, a mid-century SciFi story by the Strugatskys.
And if that's not enough you can also check out the 1924 silent film "Aelita Queen of Mars" on youtube based on the Tolstoy novel Aelita.
We should have plenty to discuss for August!
